- The printed prize list incorrectly identified Howie Schatzberg as the show photographer. The show photographer is Shane Shiflet. We do expect Howie to be around as he prepares for his role at the Lexington Junior League show the following week.

- Please note the information in the prize list regarding early arrivals. The Silverama Arabian horse show immediately precedes the Bluegrass Morgan Classic at the Kentucky Horse Park with all horses not departing the grounds until Monday, July 2. The horse park needs Monday to prepare the facilities for us but, has granted access at the rates identified in the prize list.

The Kentucky Horse Park is one of the premier equine venues in the world visited annually by hundreds of thousand visitors each year. During the show we will have the opportunity to exhibit our fantastic Morgans to tens of thousands who will pass through the gates during the show.

“Leave your mark at the park” Winners of all championships will receive a Morgan Pavilion brick with the 11 Grand Championship winners receiving a Morgan Pavilion Patio Stone.

In Conjunction with the 2012 Bluegrass Morgan Classic will host an AMHA Judges School. Contact AMHA for registration and schedule details

In addition to a full schedule of classes the 2012 Bluegrass Morgan Classic will host an international competition between the South African Boerperd Team and Team Morgan.

The Bluegrass Morgan Classic Youth of the Year Contest is offered for senior, junior, walk-trot, and stick horse exhibitors. Winner of the senior division will have the opportunity to represent the Bluegrass Morgan Classic at the National Youth of the Year Contest in Oklahoma City during the 2012 Morgan Grand National and World Championship in October.
